Plant Lemon Grass to not only add privacy to your yard but to also keep those pesky mosquitoes at bay!
Lemon Grass is an easy to care for plant. Starting the plants is easy and also great for raised garden beds.
Do you have an Asian or Vietnamese grocery store nearby? Chances are they’d have lemon grass to sell by the pound. Once you purchase the seeds, soak them in a flower vase (preferably metal) for several days (not more than a week) out in the sunshine on a deck or porch. Once it is evident that the plants have begun to start rooting, stick them into the topsoil in the raised beds.
